Camp Korea 2022 Registration
Camp Korea is back!
After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are thrilled to invite new and returning campers. Your children’s health and safety is our utmost importance. To assure the best camping conditions for all attendees amidst the ongoing uncertainties of COVID-19, we will require all counselors, campers, and volunteers to be double-vaccinated as we prepare for camp and follow provincial protocols at the time of camp as advised by the government.
Camp Korea’s Purpose
- Campers (Age 7 – Incoming Grade 8) – Fun and engaging Korean-Canadian cultural camp in Canada.
- Counselor In Training (CIT) (Incoming Grades 9 – 12) – Opportunities to root their unique Korean Canadian identity.
This Year’s Theme
This year’s theme is the distinctive Korean Flag. We’ll bring to life the symbolism of the Korean national flag and take us through our rich and resilient history. The Korean Flag creates an opportunity to revisit our heritage and appreciate both our individuality and collectivity as Koreans.
Costs
Tickets:
Choose from 1 of 2 tickets: Camper or Counsellor in Training (CIT).
- Campers is $410 per child.
- CIT is $460 per child.
Transportation:
If you’re driving them to and from the camp site then there is no additional cost. If you prefer your child to join the bus ride to the camp, it is $15 each way and $30 round trip.
Sunday Open House BBQ cost:
Sunday Open House & BBQ is an additional cost of $10.00 per person. Parents are encouraged to come see their kids perform activities prepare for the parents. To attend, attendee(s) must have received a full series of COVID-19 vaccines and be able to provide proof of vaccination upon request. If you are coming to the Sunday Open House, you can pick up your children as the activities come to a close. Alternatively, if you have paid for their bus ride, this is when they will take the bus ride back to Vancouver.
Food
Camp Summit will be providing all meals during the camp. All food will be allergy-free and plenty, but if there are any specifics to consider for your child please include as part of your registration note.

여러분의 자녀들의 건강과 안전은 저희의 일순위 입니다. 모두에게 안전한 캠핑 컨디션을 선사하기위해 캠프를 준비하는 카운셀러, 캠퍼, 그리고 봉사자 모두 백신 패스포트를 필요로 할것이며, 캠프 당일 모든 캠프 인원들은비씨주의 엄격한 절차를 정부의 조언에 맞춰 할것을 명심합니다.

- 캠퍼 (만 7세 – 8학년 입학 전) – 캐나다에서 재미있는 한국 문화 캠프
- 예비 카운슬러 (CIT) (9학년 입학 전 – 12학년 입학 전) – 그들의 독특한 한국계 캐나다인 정체성을 뿌리 잡을 기회
올해의 주제
올해의 주제는 태극기 입니다. 우리나라의 극기의 숨은 뜻을 함께 배워가며 한국의 풍부한 역사를 배울 예정입니다. 그 과정에서 참여하는 아이들에게잊을수 없는 평생의 추억을 선물할 것입니다. 이번 주제를 통하여 한국인의 개성과 단합함에 대하여 생각해보고 감사할수있는 기회가 되어 많은 이들에게 긍정적인 영향이 될것을 바랍니다.
캠프 비용
아이가 해당되는 캠프를 선택해 등록해주세요:
- Camper (만 7세 – 8학년 입학 전, 3박4일): 인당 $410
- 예비 카운슬러 (CIT) (9학년 입학 전 – 12학년 입학 전, 4박 5일): 인당 $460
교통
아이들을 직접 캠프로 오고가신다면 비용이 없습니다. 저희가 제공하는 버스를 다른아이들과 함께 타려면 편도는 $15, 왕복은 $30 입니다.
일요일 오픈하우스 비용
이번해의 바비큐 점심은 Camp Summit에서 제공됨으로 인당 $10.00 입니다. 오픈하우스는 C3 협회와 캠프 코리아 프로그램에 대해 더 많은 것을 배울 수 있는 기회입니다. 아이들이 준비한 공연과 발표 후에 바비큐 점심을 함께 할 예정입니다. 부모/보호자 여러분은 오픈하우스가 끝난 후 Camp Summit에서 아이들을 데려가시거나 벤쿠버로 돌아오는 교통편을 지불하셨다면 버스가 제공될 것입니다.
식사
캠프 참여기간동안 아이들은 Camp Summit에서 제공되는 식사를 할 예정입니다. 알러지 걱정없고 부족함 없는 양이 제공될 예정이나 주의사항이 있다면 등록시 꼭 알려주시기 바랍니다.
